Daedelus by samalander
- Steve nods thoughtfully, his eyes far away for a moment. "I think-- they used to say the Romans did that. Fought with their lovers at their sides. They said it was better for morale. I don't-- I mean, I didn't sleep with most of my guys. But Bucky-- Bucky was like a little bit of home under my skin, you know?" "Yeah," Sam says, a sadness settling onto his shoulders. "I know what you mean."

Feeling it by Strange_radio
- Sam and Steve, a lot of booze, a hangover breakfast, a hotel.
you're moments ago by haipollai
- Steve Rogers is all long limbs and big blue eyes. The clothes that used to fit snuggly hang off of his frame now, Sharon ended up bringing a handful of her own clothes for Steve to wear so he didn't look quite so pathetic. He still looks pretty awful, like a kicked puppy. He has a black eye that should be healed by now and his knuckles are all scraped up but his hands are still clenched in fists just in case he has to throw another punch or two. Sam knows he managed to catch one of the doctors with an elbow, bloodying his nose. // Sam gets the feeling Steve wouldn't hesitate fighting any of them if he doesn't like their answers.

Still a stranger to the ground by queerly_it_is
- Turns out getting onto the base is the easy part. All Sam has to do is use his ID to get through a non-civilian gate, smile all innocent and lie through his teeth to the guard about appointments with officers and VA business at the outpatient clinic. Oh, and pretend for all he’s worth that he doesn’t have a national icon and a master assassin stowed away in his car like a couple sets of golf clubs.

You know you have a permanent piece of my medium-sized American heart by lanyon
- “We’re not looking for Bucky anymore,” says Steve. He looks pale and exhausted, in a way that Sam has always come to associate with Bucky-related issues. “There’s no - there’s no point. He doesn’t want to be found.” / “Hey,” says Sam, sitting down next to Steve. They’re on a curbside, and Steve’s shield is flat on the ground beside him. “Hey, Cap. Maybe it’s just that he doesn’t know how.” / “To be found?” / “To be Bucky.”

The Art of Missing the Ground by Sholio
- An accident in the field gives Sam sudden!surprise!wings.
Nights Like This by ArianneMaya
- On a good day, Steve loves when Sam takes control, and their bed is full of banter and laughter. On a day like this, though, Steve needs to have control forcefully ripped out of his hands. And that's exactly what Sam does. PWP.
Press by mardia
- “So thanks to this interview, everyone thinks we’re dating,” Sam says, her voice flat. She looks up from the front page of the New York Post. The cover is a paparazzi photo of her and Steve out at the Indian restaurant last night, sitting together cozily at their table with the headline “America’s Heroes...America’s New Power Couple?” // Tony glances over her shoulder as he walks past the couch, and says, scoffing, “That headline’s awful. They should’ve at least been able to make a pun out of Falcon.”
The Inevitable Shrink Ray by Rubynye
- "I missed a dodge, got hit with a shrink ray, and stripped of the serum. What exactly do you think you're gonna break?" (PWP)
you can see it with the lights out by defcontwo
- “Will you believe me if I tell you that this is a normal thing that happens between two guys that are friends?” Sam says, and yeah, he’s pretty sure that that came out as weak as it sounded in his head. // Steve leans up on one elbow, looking down at Sam, that same crinkle around the edges of his eyes noticeable even in the gloom of the motel room light. “I know it’s been seventy years since I last had sex with a man but I’m still pretty sure that’s bullshit, Wilson.” // Sam Wilson falls in love. Like everything else, it's a process.

Not the Destination by KiaraSayre
- Before they leave New York, Tony Stark (Tony Stark, Jesus, Sam's not over it, never ever over it) hands him an AmEx Black and says, "Don't let Cap spend it all on egg creams and quarters for the jukebox." // "That is exactly what I'm gonna do," Sam says. "Egg creams and jukeboxes, nonstop. That's how we roll."
The Road Toward by zoicite
- It’d gone like this: Steve Rogers approached Sam on the National Mall and then Steve approached Sam at the VA and then Steve kissed Sam. And then two days later, Steve Rogers approached Sam again, knocked at Sam’s back door with Natasha Romanoff at his side and asked for Sam’s help. And since then… well, Sam’s – let’s just put it this way: no one would be surprised to hear Sam say that it wasn’t really how he’d imagined the last few weeks going is all. Signing on to help Captain America, getting back in the sky after all that time, standing at Steve’s side as Steve’s world started to crumble and collapse around him, and then helping Steve bring down SHIELD, saving the world like Sam Wilson was some kind of freakin’ superhero. And then, after all that, then nearly losing Steve just a few days after they first met. // "I've had to put up with a lot?" Sam repeated, crossed his arms over his chest, smiling. “Yeah, I guess that’s one way to describe the last week.”

elated, splitting blue by surgicalstainless
- He'd be climbing, thrusters straining skyward, wings pressing into the wind for every last inch of altitude — and there it was, that moment when he leveled out, engines suddenly silent. Just then he wasn't climbing or falling. Trajectory met gravity and canceled each other out, just for a second, and that was the moment Sam was standing on air. // Then gravity won, his stomach caught up, and the thrusters kicked back in, and it was all downhill from there. Worth it, though. Absolutely worth it, every time.
I fell, and it was the best thing in the world by otterlings
- There’s a lot of things you learn, living in Steve Rogers’ pockets for weeks on end, driving for endless hours, seeing nothing but road and sky most of the time. It’s strange knowing what brand of soap and deodorant he uses (Irish Spring and Old Spice); when you’ve worn his shirts because he got a call from Natasha at 3:39 in the morning with a lead and the both of you are too tired to bother with dressing in the right clothes; when you’ve seen him roll out from under the covers with bed-head and drool on his chin.
(From the Sky to the Ground) From the Ground to the Sky by HSavinien
- Sam Wilson, the Falcon, helped defeat the Chitauri invasion as an Avenger and New York is still rebuilding. The word from S.H.I.E.L.D. is that Captain America has been found.

i didn't know i was lonely 'til (i saw your face) by notcaycepollard
- Here’s a thing: it takes Steve five consecutive mornings to work up the courage to talk to Sam Wilson. The sun on his skin, Jesus Christ. How it burnishes him until he’s glowing, radiant against the early morning sky all luminous pink-lilac, the sweeping white columns of the Jefferson Memorial as backdrop, and Steve starts having all these thoughts about the gods and myths he read about as a kid. The art, the statues, beautiful human gods carved in marble and gilded with gold. He draws Sam, once, from memory, and adds a laurel wreath almost without thinking about it. (Later, he will find this equal parts mortifying and hilarious.)

- It’s sometime past one in the morning when Sam wanders down a side street in Reims and strolls into the French equivalent of a diner looking for a coffee or a croissant. He doesn't expect company. [ot3]
i'm a live wire by themountainkingsreturn
- WIP ch1/?
- "Something was different now. Sam thought a light had been switched on in the last few weeks, perhaps before he even consciously knew it, perhaps even from the moment he first saw Bucky in his group meeting. Because he couldn’t understand Bucky as a concept, not really. That deep, deep need for the wholeness of Bucky was something that only Steve possessed. It wasn’t Sam’s place to understand that. But Sam did understand something about soldiers. He knew about them. And looking at Bucky now, with his lank hair bunched up against the couch and his eyes fixed on Cinderella scrubbing floors, Sam thought he finally did understand something." [Sam/Bucky]

(Rule 63 PWP) [Sam/Bucky]

- Turns out getting sicker than a dog was actually for the best. /// "We'll be good, Steve. Right, Bucky? lord send me a mechanic if I’m not beyond repair by suzukiblu
- Barnes’s daemon has a name, obviously, but he only ever calls her “Sweetheart”. At least, Sam’s fairly sure no daemons named their kid that in the 1910s, but hey, what does he know, maybe it was like the kids who used to get named after weird virtues and vices back in the Puritan days; maybe she’s lucky not to be Chastity or Prudence or Bread-of-Life. Steve never calls her Sweetheart, though. [Sam/Bucky]

you're stuck in my head (stuck on my heart, stuck on my body) by notcaycepollard
- "You don't gotta hold my hand," Bucky says after a minute or two. "It's not like it hurts." // "Sure it does, asshole," Sam tells him, but he knows it comes out almost fond, and his hand is warm, and Bucky apparently leaves it at that. // When the artist goes over the edges of scar tissue, Bucky tightens his grip, and Sam doesn't say anything at all. [Sam/Bucky, post-ca:cw/minus credit scene]
act of love by Unclesteeb
- Bucky closes his eyes and presses a kiss to Sam's forehead. He doesn't have many positive feelings about God anymore. He doesn't know if he even believes anymore. But if he did, he'd be sure that God sent Sam straight from heaven. [Sam/Bucky, post-ca:cw]
i'm wonderstruck (blushing all the way home) by notcaycepollard
- The first picture he gets comes from Sam. Steve’s phone buzzes in his pocket, an hour or so before he’s due to leave, and even though he’s in the conference room with a lot of extremely important people, he pulls it out, checks the message. There’s no text, just an attached picture, and Steve glances up, angles his phone in towards himself, loads the photo. It’s not dirty, or anything. Just the curve of Bucky’s cheek, his mouth, hair falling into his eyes. Real close-up, a little out of focus, and unutterably tender. Steve smiles for way too long before he types in a reply. Beautiful. Also, this meeting is taking forever. [ot3] [PWP]
Reverie by biggrstaffbunch
- Steve, in the silence following the stones. [Steve/Sam, Steve/Bucky]

All of it is set to culminate in New York City... if Bucky can remember what he set up. [various combos of ot4]
nothing in me wasted by lupinely
- It’s hard to love someone you fight alongside. It’s hard to love someone who is courageous and fierce and a little wild and watch them slowly get beaten to pieces, beaten down to nothing. It’s hard to love someone, Sam thinks; but then again, it’s harder not to. [ot4]
5 Times Clint Barton Was Horrified by His Friends ('s Sexual Activities) + 1 Time He Got Revenge by silverfoxflower

She is wearing black and a light dusting of flour that goes from her feet to the tip of her nose. It is adorable, and because Sam has a healthy respect for his life, he resolves never to tell her so. The clothes that used to fit snuggly hang off of his frame now, Sharon ended up bringing a handful of her own clothes for Steve to wear so he didn't look quite so pathetic. He has a black eye that should be healed by now and his knuckles are all scraped up but his hands are still clenched in fists just in case he has to throw another punch or two.

A Match Made in Topeka by galwednesday
- Slowly, inexorably, the twine ball kept rolling. It smashed into the wooden gazebo supports, which cracked and buckled on impact like they were made out of styrofoam. The ball bounced down down the gazebo steps and picked up speed as it rolled into the street. “Oh shit,” Sam said. The purple-stained side of the ball burst into flames. “Oh shit,” Steve said. The twine ball barreled forward, burning merrily, now headed straight for the armored SUV that had been advancing up the street. The agents inside took one look at the flaming wrecking ball heading towards them and bailed out, forced to abandon their cover to avoid the most ignominious death in Hydra history. // (That time Steve was so bad at confessing his feelings that the Winter Soldier had to come in from the cold to do it for him. - Bucky's improving, but it takes a village. To be honest, though, the village is happy to do it. [ot4]
The Night Has Seen Your Mind (Part 1 of Choice Is Not A Word A Bullet Knows series) by bomberqueen17
- Steve and Sam return from a futile tour of the globe on the heels of the ghost of the Winter Soldier to find a pile of postcards with the names of confirmed-killed HYDRA agents waiting at Stark Tower: mission reports from the ghost to the only commanding officer he still feels he has.
- The first time is Clint’s fault. He should’ve known never to investigate the weird sounds coming from behind the closed door, he is such the stupid white guy in a horror movie. [ot4]
Like The Fantastic Four by Bouzingo
- Natasha is still adjusting to having no secrets. Clint comes over to her place for support, and ends up staying to run a mission with her and her boyfriends. [ot4]
Happy Cake Day by Bouzingo
- Sam comes to the realization that Natasha doesn't know when her birthday is. Maybe that doesn't have to be a huge deal. [ot3]
Kelly, the Well-Meaning and Very Confused Barista by chaya
- An outside observer confuses the 'barbershop quartet' as one woman with a really bad habit for cheating. Complete fluff. [ot4/gen]
Fairytale Backup Plan by china_shop
- After six months on the road, Natasha winds up at Steve and Sam's coffee shop. Set after CA:TWS. [Natasha-Steve/Sam]
from scratch by verity
- Everything about baking is exceedingly messy. “Could have gone with a box,” Bucky says when Sam drops an egg on the floor. "Or a bakery." “Boxes are for quitters,” Nat says. She is wearing black and a light dusting of flour that goes from her feet to the tip of her nose. It is adorable, and because Sam has a healthy respect for his life, he resolves never to tell her so. One Breakfast Burrito To Go by An Errant Tumbleweed (cryogenia)
- Despite his best efforts, Morning continues to happen to Bucky Barnes. If he can't face it like a man, he'll face it like a burrito. [ot4]
